- Book yourself a ticket to Finland and travel to city of Jyväskylä bus station between first and 3th of August. Call us +358408590125 and we will pick you up from there to Hankasalmi. Join a group of 5 to 9 of other pickers and rent a car and a trailer from us. You may of course have your groups formed together with your friends before you come in here. If you would like to get to know other registrated members before coming in here there is a discussion forum in our web site. From Hankasalmi you will travel to one of our camps to the North and start to do picking of berries and mushrooms and sell them to us. We will help and support you to start to do this, if you are here for the first time. If you would come with your own car, that's all right too.
We have limited number of cars and beds is our accommodation places for rent, so make sure you'll reserve your place early enought.
What do you need when coming in here?
200€/person of money to pay deposit of rent for a car (100€), if you are not coming with your own car and a deposit for an accommodation (100€). You need to have also some money with you for buying gasoline and food before you start earning from the berries and mushrooms you have picked. We recommend 100€ at least for this.
To make 100% sure we have available places left in our cars and places to stay overnight you may do the deposit payment before arrival in here. Payment information you will receive from us by email on registration process.
We don't have bed sheets in our accommodation places, so take them or a sleeping bag with you.
You need to have also clothes that are suitable to wear at the forest. Rubber boots you will need too of course. On September there could be also some cold weather in here too, so take some warm clothes with you. That's all you need to have when coming in here.
The easiest for you would be to come in here in a group of 5 people, then you will already have a group to rent a car together. People who dosn't have full group yet will make groups in Hankasalmi after arraiving in there.
